When you reach a limit
Use the X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining and X-RateLimit-Reset response headers to slow requests before reaching the limit. Over it, the API returns 429, a short JSON body and a Retry-After header in seconds. Requests work again when the next hour starts.
