What is the difference between the karats?

Karat measures purity. 24K is pure gold, and 22K, 21K, 18K and 14K contain 22, 21, 18 and 14 parts of gold out of 24, so their price per gram is lower by the same ratio.

How is this price calculated?

The USD spot price per troy ounce is multiplied by the SGD exchange rate, then divided by 31.1035 for grams and adjusted for purity.
